The LS450 Boiler: A 500,000 BTU central hot water heating system suitable for areas up to 6,000 ft².
Designed for wood or dual-energy heating of buildings such as homes, garages, farm buildings, equestrian centers, workshops, greenhouses, factories, etc. Can be installed indoors or outdoors.

The patented Bilovax smoke-free* technology by L.S. Bilodeau allows:

This LS450 unit, with its LARGE and LONG combustion chamber (accepting logs up to 29" long, and up to 53" for the LS950), stands out from the competition in several ways:

• With the smoke-free* Bilovax technology, developed and patented by L.S. Bilodeau: an evolution in wood gasification, making it less sensitive to wood quality (accepting up to 50-60% moisture compared to the 15-18% required by competitors**).

Several options are available, including dual-energy wood-electric systems, ember burners, or smoke evacuators, with all configurations offered. Canadian and Quebec-made, the Bilovax LS450 heating unit, also commonly called a hot water boiler or central boiler, has passed all tests to comply with current CSA/B415 standards.
*Smoke-free after approximately 10 minutes if ignition is performed according to the manufacturer's recommendations. **Note: Heating with dry wood remains optimal. While our unit can accept wood with up to 50-60% moisture (vs. a MAX of 15-18% for competitors), moist wood can temporaily reduce performance and require more maintenance on all wood-fired systems.
